Thank you for choosing our school. We are very excited to start your child’s journey into school with you.

We know starting school is big change for children, and their grownups. At Eling we believe that starting school should be a smooth process and not a daunting event.

We have put together this page with some information, to reassure you and give you the information you need, alongside the information sent directly to you.

The Teaching Team

The Year R teachers will be Mrs Quinn, Miss White and Mrs Collins. 

 

Mrs Quinn says 

“I love singing and watching musical shows. Year R is the place to be because we always try to be the best team.”

 

 

 

Mrs Collins says

 “I am art lead for the school. Out of school I enjoy gardening, spending time with my family and singing with a choir. My favourite children’s book is Mog the Forgetful Cat by Judith Kerr. ”

 

 

 

Miss White says

 “I am computing lead for the school. Out of school I enjoy spending time with my family and especially enjoy baking and reading. I have written a book for children about a little pufferfish with big feelings. ”

 

 

The children will also be supported by a number of Teaching Assistants.
